The 2013 National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) is out and NJ has done very well. In fact, NJ is one of top states according to the recent testing.
Please refer to the following to see the details NJ.Com has provided on their site:

Once on the NJ.Com site, links can be found to specific school districts in NJ. The link for the Woodbridge School District is:http://nces.ed.gov/ccd/districtsearch/district_detail.asp?Search=1&InstName=Woodbridge&State=34&Zip=...
Those readers concerned with the data regarding the Woodbridge School District should note: District Details (2010-2011 school year; Fiscal data from 2009-2010). For those wishing to compare the nces.ed.gov data to that presented by the Woodbridge Township School District (WTSD), go to:http://www.woodbridge.k12.nj.us/cms/lib07/NJ01913008/Centricity/Domain/77/2013-2014_budget_presentat...
Readers can find difference between the state's data and that of the school district's. One notable difference is the cost per student (WTSD, 2010-2011, @ $13,253 vs the state's 2009-2010 number of $15,687. Again, readers are advised to check the dates given in each report.
As the WTSD is preparing its next budget, having this information available for comparison by Woodbridge Township residents will be helpful when the WTSD presents its budget for public review and discussion.
It is hoped that all residents in the township will pay close attention to the new budget, what it will mean to improving education in the district, and the impact it will have on taxes in the township.
