A Candidate's Thank You!

This post is to thank the nearly 5,000 supporters that voted for me in the Woodbridge Twp. Board of Education election. 

Congratulations to my opponents on their re-election to the Board.  I know each of you will strive to improve our schools.  I look forward to working with you in that endeavor.

Those reading this are asked to take moment to think about all the other candidates that ran for local, county and state offices.  Each of those individuals gave of themselves in the belief they could improve the quality of life for their friends and neighbors in their respective communities and perhaps beyond.  Some were successful in obtaining the elected office to which they aspired; others were not.  But we, the voters, owe each and every candidate a debt of gratitude for their efforts.  Our great nation would not be the ‘Land of the Free’, if we did not have candidates from whom we can freely choose to run our system of government.  Thank you to all those candidates!
