Mayor’s Summer Concert Series Begins Monday

Kenny Vance and The Planotones kick off the concert at 7:30.

The Mayor’s Summer Concert Series is back with free, live music under the stars on the lawn behind Woodbridge High School every Monday night.

This Monday marks the first night of series with live music by Kenny Vance & The Planotones. Concerts are free with a donation of non-perishable food times for the township’s “We Feed Woodbridge” food bank campaign.

Here’s the 2013 line-up:

July 8: ‘Kenny Vance & The Planotones’
July 15: ‘Louis Prima Jr. & The Witnesses’
July 22: ‘Idol Kings Tribute’ to John Cougar Mennecamp & Journey
July 29: ‘Duprees’
August 5: ‘B Street Band’ Springsteen Tribute
August 12: ‘Emilio Stucchio & The Classics”
August 19: ‘Hotel California’ Eagles Tribute
August 26: ‘Infernos’

Bring chairs, bring blankets and enjoy the show!

Recreation Director Vito Cimilluca, Assistant Recreation Director Brian Molnar and Mayor John McCormac organize the Mayor’s Summer Concert series. Sponsors include, Woodbridge Center, ShopRite and Sansone Route 1 Auto Mall.
