Last Minute Down the Shore: Wine Fest, Boat Race, & the Nerds

EVENTS

The will be held at historic in Wall Township this weekend. The event will feature more than 300 varieties of wine from more than two dozen wineries. The festival, which runs from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, also will feature live music, vendors and crafters. Tickets for wine sampling are $25 for those 21 years and older. Tickets are available at the festival or through the New Jersey Wine Growers website at www.newjerseywines.com. Those under 21 or who are not sampling wine are admitted free.

Surflight Theatre in Beach Haven will stage which is described as an Italian-American fairy tale set in 1956 Hoboken. Performances are 8 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $36 to $54; visit www.surflight.org or call 609-492-9477.
