A band known for its haunting Irish melodies and lilting lyrics, Philadelphia-based RUNA will be performing at a free concert tonight at .
The concert, part of the Woodbridge Wednesday series, starts at 7:30 pm.
With two CDs under their belt, the band consists of singer Shannon Lambert-Ryan, who is married to Fionan de Barra, who, appropriately enough, was born in Dublin and plays guitar. Add percussionist Cheryl Prashker and Tomoko Omura of Japan on the fiddle, and you have RUNA.
Bring your own seating - lawn chair or blanket - and check out the Woodbridge Farmer's market which is also open. Food and drink, including alcohol, are also sold at the park.
The series is sponsored by , , , , and Capital Management.
