LAST CHANCE: RUNA Celts It Up Tonight at Parker Press

If you love contemporary Celtic music, this Irish band is one you shouldn't miss.

A band known for its haunting Irish melodies and lilting lyrics,Β Philadelphia-based RUNA will be performing at a free concert tonight at .

The concert, part of the Woodbridge Wednesday series, starts at 7:30 pm.

With two CDs under their belt, the band consists of singerΒ Shannon Lambert-Ryan, who is married to Fionan de Barra, who, appropriately enough, was born in Dublin and plays guitar. Add percussionist Cheryl Prashker and Tomoko Omura of Japan on the fiddle, and you have RUNA.Β
