Woodbridge Senior Signs Letter of Intent for Cross-Country at Felician College

Senior Sabrina Roldañ will join the Division II team this fall.

 

Senior Sabrina Roldañ of Woodbridge High School has signed a letter of intent to continue her cross-country career at Felician College, Felician head coach John Brennan announced.

Felician is a member of NCAA Division II and competes in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference. The Golden Falcon women finished 11th in the team standings in the 2012 CACC Championship meet, and were 27th at the NCAA Division II East Regional. Brennan has been the coach for the last 11 seasons of Felician's 13-year program history

"We return five runners who have now gained significant collegiate experience," Brennan said. "With the addition of Katie and Sabrina, and the improvement of our returning team, we are setting our sights on better conference and regional finishes in the future."

He added that Roldañ enjoyed a decorated high-school career.

Roldañ, 5-foot-4, was an all-Greater Middlesex Conference competitor for Woodbridge High. As a senior, she was also chosen to the Home News Tribune all-area first team and the Star-Ledger all-county first team. She expects to study business administration.

"Sabrina is a talented runner who I have no doubt will make a quick adjustment to the college scene," Brennan said. "She has the potential to be a contender on the conference level."
