The Woodbridge High School football team took the lead in the first quarter, but Colonia responded with three scores from Sam Pero in a 21-7 victory, according to nj.com.
Pero scored on a 38-yard run in the second quarter to tie the game at halftime. He had a pair of 1-yard touchdown runs in the second half to secure the win.
Brad Raybornβs 40-yard touchdown run put Woodbridge on the board first, in the first quarter.

Woodbridge 4, Piscataway 2: Woodbridge broke a 2-2 halftime tie with two goals in the second half. Alexus Fuentes led the way with two goals and an assist, and Hadiza Mamman had a goal and an assist. Karina Roldan had a goal and Jatzia Gilzean had an assist.
Goalie Maura Walsh stopped 22 shots.
