The Woodbridge YMCA will hold its annual St. Jude Trike-a-Thon event for YMCA preschool students on May 8 at 10 am. The event teaches children valuable bicycle safety lessons and will also serve as a fundraiser for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. According to the website www.stjude.org, the pediatric research and treatment facility is currently celebrating its 50th anniversary. The hospital was created in 1962 by the late entertainer Danny Thomas.
