Recreational Activities For Challenged Youth

The Woodbridge Township Recreation Department is offering a variety of sports-related activities for developmentally and physically challenged youth from January through March 2012. Following is a list of activities:

Challenge Bowling - $2.50 per game

Bowling for physically and mentally challenged children at Majestic Lanes, Route 9, Hopelawn. There will be ramps, bumpers and lanes at the event set to take place Sundays starting January 8 from 1 pm to 3 pm.

Buddy Ball Sports

Special Hockey

A "non-checking” ice hockey program sanctioned by USA Hockey will take place for developmentally challenged youth. Non-checking hockey games limit physical contact among players. For more information on times and dates, call John Eberhardt at 732-548-9808.
