All month, activities for seniors take place throughout the township at various locations including the following events at the YMCA on Main Street and the Evergreen Center located at 400 Inman Avenue in Colonia:
April 2: Active Older Adults Expo at the YMCA, 10 am to 1 pm. For more information, call 732-596-4053;
April 2: Senior Summit with Mayor McCormac at the YMCA, 11 am;

April 3: Intergenerational Wii Bowling at the YMCA, 11 am;
April 3: Senior Citizen Police Academy. The event runs from May 3 to May 31 and the session is already filled. To be placed on the waiting list, call 732-726-2318;
April 4: Senior Gaming Tournament at the YMCA, 11 am. Prizes will be awarded at this event;

April 4: Senior Prom at the Evergreen Center, 12:15 pm to 2:30 pm. For more information, call 732-726-6262;
April 5: Women’s Wellness Day at the YMCA, 9 am to 2 pm. Seniors will take part in Zumba classes, Reflexology and other activities.
