Come See The Fireworks in Sewaren

Share in the annual festivities Friday night at the Woodbridge Township Independence Day celebration on July 1. A fireworks display is scheduled to take place at the Alvin P. Williams Memorial Park, Cliff Road along the Sewaren waterfront.

The musical group Party Dolls will open the event followed by the "Bringing the Night to Life" fireworks display. The National Anthem will be performed by Kelly Peterson, the Woodbridge township winner in the 2011 American Idol contest.

The pyrotechnics display is expected to include more than 12,000 "shots" which will be fired electronically by computers as both patriotic and contemporary is heard in the background.
