Woodbridge Schools To Announce JFK High School Baseball Field Construction

Project to start.

Mayor John E. McCormac, Dr. Robert Zega, Superintendent, the Woodbridge Township School District, the Woodbridge Township School District Facilities Improvement Project, and John F. Kennedy Memorial High School Principal Michael Cilento teachers, students and athletes will announce the start of construction of the new JFK Memorial High School synthetic turf baseball field at an on-field ground-breaking ceremony on Friday morning at 10 a.m.

Again, another example of pouring money into athletic fields over repairing a dilapidated school building. Really short sighted goal and complete waste of money. The demographics in Iselin have significantly changed. There will be no baseball at JFK within 10 years, probably sooner. I'm quite not sure how they field teams at the present time. They should have built a cricket field instead, if anything.
