Tickets Still Available for WHS Casino Night Fundraiser This Thursday

Proceeds benefit victims of Sandy.

Woodbridge High School hosts their first ever Casino Night fundraiser this Thursday at Ariana’s Grand on Rahway Avenue.

The proceeds from the evening will benefit Woodbridge victims of Sandy. Back in January, the school held a fundraiser where they raised nearly $7,500 for the victims and they are hoping to top that tomorrow on Thursday evening.

Coordinators of the event, Jacki Soto, Tina Clarke and Tammy Giordano, along with WHS teachers are looking forward to a great time Thursday while raising money for those affected by Sandy.

“It sounded like a great way for those who want to help the local community have a great time while supporting their neighbors in need, Giordano said. “We have several families in our school that have lost their livelihood and homes due to Hurricane Sandy, so we want to help them get back to normal.”

The event will include prizes such as autographed Bon Jovi items, an Ipad, a Michael Kors bag, gift cards and plenty more. Tickets are $50 per person and include a buffet dinner, beer, wine and soft drinks.

To purchase tickets contact Tammy Giordano at 732-239-3539 or Tammy.Giordano@woodbridge.k12.nj.us. Tickets are also available at the door.
