POLL: Should St. Cecelia's School Close?

The parents and administrators did everything they could to keep St. Cecelia's School in Iselin open. Should they get another chance?


With the announcement that St. Cecelia's, a Catholic elementary school in the Iselin section of Woodbridge, would be , a lot of alumni of the school have felt a huge sense of loss.

Catholic schools don't just educate Catholics kids anymore. Children of all faiths are sent by their parents to Catholic schools for what they feel is a more personal and better education than what they find in the public school system.

The Metuchen diocese has said that the other Catholic schools in the township, such as and , are in good shape enrollment-wise, and don't face being shut down.
