Middlesex County College to Hold Culinary Program Information Night

The community college will host an open house to discuss the "Today's Table" program in January.

Anyone interested in expanding their culinary prowess is invited to attend an information night on Jan. 11 for Middlesex County College's “Today’s Table: Classes for Contemporary Cooks” program.

The event will be from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the culinary lab of Crabiel Hall, located at Middlesex County College's Edison campus, 2600 Woodbridge Ave.

According to a release from the college, participants will be able to taste food prepared by chef instructor Richard Bottega.

The event is free, but registration is required by calling 732-906-2556.

All classes in the program are held in the evening, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., and cover a number of topics, including steak, soups and sauces, brunch, French cooking, Italian cooking, Spanish food, vegetarian cooking, comfort, holiday and party foods, sushi, healthy cooking and a cupcake decorating class for parents and children. Classes in cooking basics are also available.

Registration for single classes is $30, or $75 for three classes registered at the same time.
