Menendez Hosts Children's Health Day

The US senator helped kids learn about nutrition.

U.S. Senator Robert Menendez (D-NJ) hosted a “Children’s Health Day” at the Jewish Renaissance Medical Center in Perth Amboy Tuesday, August 28.

Children received free dental and obesity screenings as well as participated in a nutrition information session where teachers spoke with children about good eating habits. Senator Menendez’s staff was also on hand to meet with constituents and answer questions.

“I’m proud to join with the Jewish Renaissance Medical Center to provide our children with necessary screenings,” said Senator Menendez in a statement.  “A healthy start helps our children reach their fullest potential. That’s why it has been a priority of mine in the Senate to make sure that all children, regardless of their parent’s income level, have access to quality care.  And as long as I’m in the Senate, I will continue to fight for investments in our community health centers.”

What Jewish children? There is no jewish children in the city of Perth Amboy. It is a money making operation who uses the jewish faith in order to avoid paying taxes, receive government grants and pay himself a great deal of money. How foolish you are!

@Fred Lawson--while I agree with your comment, the truth is there ARE Jewish children in Perth Amboy, though very few. Perth Amboy did, at one time, have a significant Jewish presence and continues to be home to Beth Mordecai, a conservative Jewish synagogue welcoming all--including interfaith families..
