MCC Presents a 'Moving Canvas,' Free Dance Concert

Two performances will be held at the MCC Edison campus on Dec. 2 and 3 at 7 pm.

The Middlesex County College Dance Ensemble will present its 11th annual fall dance concert, “Moving Canvas”, on Friday and Saturday, Dec 2 and 3. Both performances will be held in the Performing Arts Center on the College’s Edison Campus on Woodbridge Ave.

The concert begins at 7 pm, and admission is free.

“The College’s dance company is modern dance-based, and each dance piece is inspired by a painting,” said Prof. Aimee Mitacchione, the Ensemble director. “Our dancers range from advanced professionals in the dance field to absolute beginners. The MCC Dance Program prides itself on providing opportunities to a diverse group of people who may not have otherwise been given the chance to gain experience auditioning, rehearsing and performing."
