Judy Leidner Steps Down from Woodbridge Board of Education

Leidner announced her resignation on June 12, so that her son can apply for a position.

Judy Leidner will be stepping down from the Board of Education by the end of the month.

"It is with mixed emotions that I have to resign my position," she said.

Her son is interested in applying for a position with the district. The current rules against nepotism mean that only one person from their family can hold office.

"In order to give him equal opportunity I must resign my position," she said.

She has been re-elected for five consecutive terms, and has served as a board member for fourteen years.

"It's been my pleasure to serve you," Leidner said. "I hope I have made a difference."
