Formerly Suspended WHS VP Demoted to Middle School Teacher
Martin Scarano will maintain his $95,020 salary as Colonia Middle School teacher.
The formerly suspended Woodbridge High School Vice Principal that was suspended in June was reassigned to a teaching position at Colonia Middle School.
The Board accepted Martin Scarano's resignation as vice principal and hired him as a teacher at Colonia Middle School, according to Board Attorney Jonathan Busch.
Scarano's salary will be held at $95,020, which is what he would have earned as a teacher for the 2012-13 school year, Busch said.
Brian Russo was also suspended in early June and resigned from his position as Guidance and Special Education Supervisor at Woodbridge High School. Russo was hired as a Special Education teacher at Iselin Middle School.
