Attend Seminar on Consolidating Local Government Resources

The New Jersey Taxpayers Association will present a panel discussion on consolidation and shared services in New Jersey October 20 starting at 10:00 am. The event will take place at the Morris County Library.

Panelists set to attend the forum are: Assembyman Upendra Chivucula who will discuss Assembly bills A2622 and A2623 concerning the establishment of county administrative school districts to govern and operate all public schools in each county; Tim Smith, Chairman of Fight Waste New Jersey who will speak on the topic of shared services in Law Enforcement; Gina Genovese, Executive Director of Courage To Connect New Jersey. Genovese will discuss municipal consolidation and the role of the taxpayer. Find out how local governments can work together to improve services to the public and save local taxpayers money at the same time.
