The New Jersey Taxpayers Association will present a panel discussion on consolidation and shared services in New Jersey October 20 starting at 10:00 am. The event will take place at the Morris County Library.
Panelists set to attend the forum are: Assembyman Upendra Chivucula who will discuss Assembly bills A2622 and A2623 concerning the establishment of county administrative school districts to govern and operate all public schools in each county; Tim Smith, Chairman of Fight Waste New Jersey who will speak on the topic of shared services in Law Enforcement; Gina Genovese, Executive Director of Courage To Connect New Jersey. Genovese will discuss municipal consolidation and the role of the taxpayer.
