Berkeley College Named One New Jersey's Best Places to Work

The college received the award for the eighth year.

Berkeley College recently was named one of the Best Places to Work in New Jersey for 2013. This is the eighth year the College has received the award. 

“Berkeley College is honored to be recognized as one of the Best Places to Work in New Jersey,” said Dario A. Cortes, PhD, Berkeley College President. “This award acknowledges that the College has changed the lives of not only our students, but also the lives of the faculty and staff who find fulfillment in their work.”

The awards program, created in 2005, was designed to identify and honor the places of employment in New Jersey that benefit the state’s economy, workforce and businesses. The program was produced by NJBIZ in partnership with Garden State Council SHRM, The New Jersey State Chamber, Employers Association of New Jersey and the New Jersey Economic Development Authority. The presenting sponsor was Metlife Solutions Group and the major event sponsor was Gibbons, P.C.

The Best Places to Work in New Jersey program recognizes 100 companies in two groups, depending on number of employees.

A leader in business education for more than 80 years, Berkeley College is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and enrolls more than 7,700 students — including over 800 international students — in its Baccalaureate and Associate degree programs. The College has four New Jersey locations — Woodland Park, Paramus, Woodbridge and Newark. In New York there are three locations — Midtown Manhattan, Brooklyn and White Plains.
