Assemblyman Endorses 'Read Across America' in Sewaren

Assemblyman Craig Coughlin went to district schools to promote the joys of reading

The love of reading can be a lifelong pleasure. Craig Coughlin, assemblyman for the 19th District, helped the process along this week when he visited four schools to promote 'National Read Across America Week.'

He visited the Matthew Jago School in the Sewaren section of Woodbridge, where he read what he said was his favorite's children's book, "The Giving Tree."

The assemblyman also visited schools in Parlin, Carteret, and South Amboy, all part of the district Coughlin represents.
