New Marriott Residence Inn Opens in Woodbridge

There's a new hotel in town.

The 107-suite Residence Inn by Marriott celebrated its opening on Friday. Tucked away at Regency Place - right past the Hess Station on Route 9 North in Woodbridge. You'd never guess you were so close to a major highway. The hotel exudes peace and serenity, for being steps from car and truck traffic.

The new hotel, which is designed for guests needing a stay of five nights or more, will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned and managed by Bhojani Development Group of Avenel. 

The official name, Residence Inn Woodbridge Edison/Raritan Center, boasts convenient access from Newark Airport and easy drives to Raritan Center, the New Jersey Convention Center, Menlo Park Mall

“We are pleased to introduce Residence Inn hotels in the Woodbridge area,” said Diane Mayer, vice president and global brand manager, in a statement. “When on the road for an extended period, our guests need space to spread out, maintain their life’s pace and restore their energy to help them maintain a healthy balance and routine while traveling. This new hotel offers them a seamless blend of modern style and functionality that allows them to settle in and thrive.” 

The all-suite hotels offer studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites where guests can enjoy plush mattresses, crisp linens, and a complimentary breakfast buffet. Business travellers will find a large, well-lit work desk, ergonomic chair and complimentary high-speed Internet access.

Each suite also comes with a fully-equipped kitchen with granite countertops, a coffeemaker, microwave oven, and residential-sized stainless steel appliances.

For an extended stay, the hotel offers grocery delivery service, complimentary public space Wi-Fi, a 24-hour onsite food and beverage market, dry cleaning services, and onsite guest laundry room.

The hotel’s weeknight evening gatherings offer a casual, relaxing environment where guests can be as social as they want, while enjoying light fare.  There is also a business library, an indoor swimming pool, a whirlpool, meeting room, and exercise room.
