Winning Lottery Ticket Purchased At Avenel Pathmark in Woodbridge

A winning lottery ticket was purchased at the Avenel Pathmark in Woodbridge:

Carole Hedinger, New Jersey Lottery Executive Director, announced that there were no jackpot or second prize New Jersey winners of the Mega Millions game, but there were four third prize winners for the Friday, February 28 drawing.

According to NJ Lottery:

One of those third prize winning tickets was purchased with the Megaplier option, making the ticket worth $20,000. That ticket was bought in Pathmark of Woodbridge #580, 1600 St. George Ave., Avenel in Middlesex County.

The other third prize winning tickets, purchased without the Megaplier option and worth $5,000 each, were sold at the following locations: Hackensack Meat Market, 120 Passaic Street, Hackensack in Bergen County; Shoprite of Moorestown, 1000 Nixon Drive, Mr. Laurel in Burlington County; and Quick Chek #12, 1578 Route 206, Bedminster in Somerset County. 

In addition to the Garden State’s $20,000 and $5,000 winners, 187,012 other New Jersey players took home $355,818 in prizes ranging from $1 to $2000, according to Hedinger. “Congratulations to the lottery winners and to the retailers that sold all of those winning tickets,” said Hedinger. “For selling the winning tickets, the retailers have become many more Lottery ‘lucky locations’ overnight.” The winning numbers for the Friday, February 28 drawing were: 03, 31, 50, 58 and 59.

The Gold Mega Ball was 06, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 04.  The Mega Millions jackpot rolls to $240,000,000 for the next drawing, which will be held Tuesday, March 4 at 11:00 pm. Watch live drawings for the Pick-3, Pick-4, Jersey Cash 5 and Pick-6 games at the Lottery website (NJLottery.net), or on the official Lottery Facebook Page. Evening draws can be seen on CBS stations: WLNY 10/55 and CW Philly 57. Powerball and Mega Millions drawings can be seen on WABC TV stations. Mega Millions tickets are sold in 45 participating jurisdictions. Drawings are held on Tuesdays and Fridays.
