Township Extends Tax Bill Payment Deadline

It's not a tax break, but a breather on this quarter's tax payments.

Hurricane Sandy brought a lot of misery to the area. But Woodbridge, joining many other municipalities, is extending the deadline for homeowners to pay their property taxes.

Residents now have until November 30 to pay their quarterly taxes without accruing interest, the township posted in a notice on their homepage.

Taxes are normally due November 1. This year, that was the still when Woodbridge and the rest of central Jersey was digging out from the wrath of the hurricane.

The township posted that if taxes aren't paid by the 30th, the interest will revert back to what it was before the dispensation.

Mac giveith and Mac takeith away! Keeping Mac and company in power comes with a lot of costs. Taxes are but one! Too bad the 10,600+ supporters that kept him in office don't have to pay double on their taxes (municipal and school) for their choice!
