The Gov's Coming to Town in the Five Things You Must Know!

If politics ain't your cuppa, avoid the Main St. tangle this morning!

The governor's coming to town, but if town hall's aren't your thing, there's more in Woodbridge for the entire family to enjoy:

  1. Gov. Chris Christie will be holding today at the Woodbridge Community Center. Doors open at 8:45 am, and the program starts at 9:45 am. Be there early if you want a seat!
  2. The Friends of the Perth Amboy Free Public Library is holding from 2 pm to 8 pm.  A bag of books goes for $5.  For more info, call 732-826-9466 or 732-293-1090.  
  3. Do some good - give blood! The American Legion T. Nulty Post #471 is hosting from 2:30 pm to 8 pm at the post located at 25 Brown Road in Iselin.  For more info or to make an appointment, call 732-634-9119.  Walk-ins are welcome. 
  4. Join the Owl Prowl. Dr. Emile DeVito, manager of Science and Stewardship at the New Jersey Conservation Foundation, will conduct from 7 to 9 pm.  Meet at the Ulrich Pool parking lot at 1968 St. Georges Ave in Rahway, bring binoculars and a flashlight, and remember to dress in layers!
