Woodbridge Mayor John McCormac is in a two-way tie for the second spot in a poll conducted by PolitickerNJ. What are your thoughts?


It's good news for fans of Woodbridge Mayor John McCormac.

PolitickerNJ, the most popular Internet site for the state's political junkies, asked readers to vote for which mayor they thought was "most consistently excellent" from a list of 16 candidates.

The polling results today showed that McCormac is tied for second place with Mayor Dave Mayer of Gloucester Township.

The poll's winner is longtime Monroe Township mayor, Richard Pucci.

McCormac and Mayer each received 25 percent of the votes, while Pucci grabbed half, according to the site.

The poll may not be scientifically accurate, though: none of the other 13 mayors listed received any votes at all.
