Knights of Columbus Celebrates Columbus Day
Expected are Queen Isabella and Christopher Columbus to mark the founding of America.
Italian-Americans, unite! The Woodbridge Knights of Columbus will be hosting a special Columbus Day celebration. It will be held today, October 7, 10 am at Woodbridge Town Hall.
The event isn't just your typical Columbus Day gathering. Expected are Queen Isabella and the captain of the Santa Maria, Christopher Columbus himself (or a close proxy.)
Festivities include a flag-raising ceremony, and a special appearance by Ms. Italian America Brooke Sweeney, in addition to State Senator Joe Vitale, Grand Marshal Frank St. Marie, and Mayor John McCormac.
