Irvington Woman Allegedly Mailed Threatening Letter to Woodbridge Town Hall

An Irvington woman accused of sending sending dozens of threatening letters, including one to Woodbridge town hall, went before a Newark judge on Thursday.
According to a CBS news report, Karen Waller, 54, of Irvington, pleaded guilty on Thursday to one count of mailing a threatening communication in relation to a letter sent to Secaucus municipal offices.
Waller was arrested in July by the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force on charges that she mailed more than 50 threatening letters to various offices, including Woodbridge town hall and Rutgers University, according to the report.
She faces up to five years in prison and up to $250,000 in fines, and will be sentenced on Feb. 27, according to the report.
