Five Things: Lose the Stress, Volunteer to Clean, Come to Council

What you need to know today to make your life productive and fun.

  1. Volunteer to clean up a forest. (Yes, there is a forest in Woodbridge.) More precisely, it's the Pin Oak Forest Project in Avenel. on Sept. 24 to spend a day picking up trash and litter. The junk, the township says, will be turned into "works of arts" to be displaying through Woodbridge. To volunteer, sign up at the township website, or call 732-596-4108.

  3. Lose the stress. Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway is offering in a self-help group. Registration is required. For more info, call 908-276-2469.
  4. Find out how your money is being spent. The Woodbridge Council will hold its biweekly at on Main St. Stop by and ask some questions!
  5. Learn fun stuff for all ages. And they mean it in Rahway. The city is holding its Fall recreational programs from tots to senior citizens, held in its East Milton Ave. Recreation Center. range from music and sports to theater and crafts, andΒ  are open to both residents and non-residents.
