Woodbridge Man Tried Bringing Knife to Englishtown Court, Police Say

A Woodbridge man was charged after allegedly trying to enter an Englishtown municipal court session on Wednesday with a folding knife.

Paul A. Heckendorf Jr., 37, of S. Louis Street argued with officers outside Englishtown Borough Hall, according to court documents.

Heckendorf was charged with weapons possession. He was also cited on a disorderly persons offense. His bail was set at $5,000.

Patrolman Alexander Dinicola was the arresting officer.
