Township Traffic Stop Yields Heroin Hoard

A Virginia man was arrested and charged for alleged possession of a large amount of heroin.

Police conducting a traffic stop in the township discovered that the driver they had pulled over was transporting five bricks of heroin.

According to a press release from the Woodbridge Police Department, Sunna A. Majid, 30, of Fredericksburg, VA. was pulled over while driving in the township on Nov. 22, after police observed "suspicious activity."

Police allegedly found five bricks of heroin valued at $170,000 in his possession.

Majid was arrested and charged with Possession with intent to distribute and Possession of of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS).

He was jailed at the Middlesex County Jail in North Brunswick on $100,000 bail with no 10 percent option, according to the release.
