Police Have Issued a Silver Alert on a Missing Woodbridge Man

Authorities fear for the safety of Abed Safah, 37, who has been missing since Friday from the Menlo Park Terrace section of Woodbridge.

The NJ State Police have issued a Silver Alert on behalf of the Woodbridge Police Department for a missing man whom officials fear may be in danger of harming himself.

Abed Safah, 37, was last seen Friday at an Ethel Place home in the Menlo Park Terrace section of the township.

Safah is approximately 5 ft. 8 in. tall, weighs 190 lbs., and has green eyes, brown hair, a moustache, and a beard, said Woodbridge Sgt. Thomas Klimuc.

He was last seen driving a 1997 green Ford Explorer with the NJ license plates X63CDU.

Police don't know what direction he may have travelled in, but they feel he may be headed toward Stratford, which is located in Camden County.

NJ State Police Sgt. Aaron Grossman said a Silver Alert may be issued if a missing person "can be categorized as threatening harm to themselves."

Safah is believed to be suicidal. "We have no indication he's dangerous to anyone other than himself," said Klimuc.

Anyone with information on Safah or his whereabouts should call the Woodbridge Police at 732-634-7700.
