Wild Weather Forecast Now Through Monday

The National Weather Service is already issuing flood advisories for the area.

The National Weather service has put central New Jersey, including the and Middlesex County area, under a Flood Watch in anticipation of heavy rains, wind, and water coming our way.

Heavy rain is forecast to fall across the region beginning at 4 pm Sunday through Monday. Rainfall totals could run from 2 to 3-1/2 inches, with the higher amounts expected in the northern part of the state. Winds are to reach between 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.

The National Weather Service said that although the region has had a lack of rainfall as of late, a sudden influx of rain could result in flooding streams and small rivers, along with the possibility of urban flooding.

Those living , such as those in various areas of Woodbridge, should keep alert for any escalatio of the Flood Watch status to Flood Warning. That means that flood conditions are impending, and residents should be prepared to evacuate.

Updates will be posted here as they are received. Sign up for breaking news alerts here.)

For those areas in Woodbridge (colonia) which were affected by Hurricane Irene nothing has been done by our local government to resolve the issues. It's mind numbing to here that the new owners of Colonia Country Club can make 4 million dollars, return on investment, in 10 months of ownership for threatening to build on the property but tax playing owners with houses in these flood areas do not get any help, does this make any sense?

Please explain how the owners of a business in America (The CCC) should not make a profit or have a return on their investment because your house is in a flood plain? Maybe all business in America should cease to operate until your flooding issues are resolved?
