Drunken Driver Caused Fatal Woodbridge Parkway Crash, Police Say

A Paterson man is facing DUI charges for a crash that killed a passenger, injured two.

A Paterson man was drunk when he crashed his car Sunday morning, killing his backseat passenger, app.com reported.

Savon Clark, 23, is facing DUI and driving with a suspended license charges for the Sunday morning crash that occurred on the Garden State Parkway in Woodbridge.

Clark was driving a BMW when he struck an overpass in the center median on the Parkway, NJ.com reported. Gail Webster, a 21-year-old back-seat passenger from Passaic, was killed in the collision.

Clark and Jashonna Harris, his front-seat passenger, were injured in the crash, police said.

Clark and Webster were not wearing seatbelts at the time of the collision.
