Woodbridge Police Confiscate Heroin, Ecstasy Worth $11K

One man was arrested and one remains at-large after police pursued the men in the midst of an alleged drug deal.

A drug-related arrest on Thursday led police to a stash of more than 1,100 bags of heroin in a Main Street house.

According to a press release from the Woodbridge Police Department, as part of a narcotics investigation, detectives observed a "drug transaction" between Amon Boseman, 22 and Sean Persing, 23, both of Woodbridge, at 1 p.m. Thursday on Grove Street.Β 

When police approached the two, Boseman ran and escaped the officers.

A warrant has been issued for his arrest on the charges of Possession of CDS, Possession with intent to distribute, resisting by flight, Obstructing the administration of law and Distribution of CDS, according to the release.

Persing was immediately arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance and Possession of Hypodermic Syringe.

He was released on his own recognizance, according to the release.

The investigation led police to a house on Main Street, where detectives recovered more than 1,100 bags of heroin and a half ounce of ecstasy, in total valued at $11,000 in street value, according to the release.Β Β
