Chinese Restaurant Cleaned Out in Burglary

Yoan's Garden in Iselin lost more than $800 in a B&E


A popular Chinese restaurant in Iselin was broken into last week and the register cleaned out by a white female suspect caught on videotape.

said that a passerby called in a report early Sunday morning, July 8,  that the front door to on Green Street was shattered. Inside, the cash register was open and approximately $820 in cash and rolled coins were missing.

The rear door to the eatery was open; police theorize that the burglar had broken in through the front door and left by the rear exit. The owners had left the restaurant near midnight.

The restaurant had a working surveillance camera, which showed a white female engaging in the B&E.

No suspects have been arrested to date.
