Funeral Services Set Friday for Woodbridge Teen

A funeral for Lukas Anderson will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home on Green Street.

The funeral for a 17-year-old Woodbridge teen will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 10 at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home. 

According to a report on mycentraljersey.com, Lukas Anderson was killed Monday afternoon after his 1997 Porsche 924 hit the back of a tractor-trailer driving in the left lane of Route 440 south in Woodbridge.

His car left the road, hit the center median and came to a stop facing backward in the southbound lane, according to the report.

He was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead around 4 p.m. Monday, according to the report. 

Anderson was an honors student at Middlesex County Vocational and Technical High School in Perth Amboy and a former member of the Woodbridge Township Ambulance and Rescue Squad. 

According to his obituary, funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green St., Woodbridge, followed by entombment in Clover Leaf Memorial Park.
