Obituary: Steve J. Orlick

Steve J. Orlick was a pipe fitter with Chevron Corporation in Perth Amboy.

Steve J. Orlick, 90, of Woodbridge passed away Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014 at the Mary Anne Hale Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center, Edison. Born in Coaldale, Pennsylvania, Steve lived in Woodbridge for many years. Retiring in 1980, he was employed as a pipe fitter with the Chevron Corporation in Perth Amboy for thirty seven years and also bowled in the Chevron Bowling League at the Majestic Lanes. He was a member of St. James R.C. Church, Woodbridge and proudly served his country with the United States Army during WWII.

He is predeceased by his loving wife, Margaret Orlick in 2009, and his siblings, Helen Autocunas, Ann D'Zurilla, John, Michael, Joseph, Vincent and Peter Orlick. He is survived by his loving children, Richard J. Orlick of Kennesaw, Georgia and Stephen J. Orlick and his wife Maureen of Irvine, California.

Funeral services will be held Monday 10:00am from the Gerity & Chubenko Funeral Home, 411 Amboy Ave., (Rt. 35), Woodbridge followed by a 10:30am Mass of Resurrection from St. James R.C. Church, Woodbridge followed by Interment at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Hopelawn. Visitation will be Sunday 4pm to 8pm at the funeral home.
