Obituary: Jane Girard, Fords Resident, 90
Longtime Republican activist Jane Girard passed away on Thursday, January 31.
Jane Girard, a local activist and official at Republican gatherings in Woodbridge died at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy on Thursday, January 31, at the age of 90.
Born in Paterson, she resided in the Fords section of Woodbridge since 1965. She was employed as a secretary for Pathmark in Woodbridge for 20 years. Jane was a member of the United Methodist Church of Woodbridge, the Woodbridge Republican Organization, and Woodbridge River Watch, and served on the board of directors of Kiddie Keep Well Camp in Edison.
Surviving are her son, Charles, and several cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Monday, February 4, at Flynn and Son Funeral Home at 23 Ford Avenue in Fords. Interment will follow at Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Paterson.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, February 3, from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm at the funeral home.
