Carol Payesko Goggel, 67, of Fords, N.J., entered into eternal rest, Friday, Dec. 13, 2013, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, N.J.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013, at 10 a.m. at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, followed by a 10:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace Church. Entombment will be in St. Gertrude Mausoleum, Colonia, N.J. Carol was born in Irvington, N.J., and was formerly of Edison, N.J. before moving to Fords 15 years ago. She worked as a payroll clerk at Muhlenberg Hospital in Plainfield, N.J. for 20 years, after which she was a bookkeeper at Bill Leary Air Conditioning and Heating for 10 years, before staying home and enjoying her grandchildren. Carol was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church in Fords. She enjoyed playing the lottery and going to the casinos.

Carol was predeceased by her sister, Constance Martignetti, in 2006. She is survived by her husband, William F. Goggel; her children, Tracey Ann Leary and her husband, Bill, of Edison, N.J., and William F. Goggel III and his wife, Dacia, of South Plainfield, N.J.; her grandchildren, Sarah, Amanda, Holly, William F. IV, and Celeste; her siblings, Robert Payesko and his wife, Gloria, of Whiting, N.J., and Shirley Testa and her husband, Jim, of Iselin, N.J., and her brother-in-law, Armando Martignetti. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, with special thanks to Gina for her kind attention during Carol's last illness.
