Strong Thunderstorm System Moving Through Middlesex County

If you don't have them yet, keep an eye out: T-storms are on the way.

The National Weather Service (NWS) is warning that the Middlesex County area can expect a strong line of thunderstorms to traverse the region.

At 2:35 pm, a cluster of thunderstorms was moving 6 miles south of Morristown and 12 miles north of Trenton - right through the Woodbridge area. The NWS said the storm is moving at 20 mph.

Heavy rainstorms, wind gusts to 40 mph, and small hail is possible with this storm series, they said. Residents in flood-prone areas should beware the sudden rainstorm effects on still-swollen creeks and river tributaries.
