Northfield Bank Donates 1,200 Toys

Over 1,200 toys were donated to 25 groups in New York and New Jersey via Northfield Bank.

Northfield Bank distributed over 1,200 toys to 25 local organizations across New Jersey, Brooklyn, and Staten Island through their Annual Holiday Toy Drive. Toys were provided to children with special needs, battered women’s shelters, foster homes, military families, and many worthy causes.

“Community organizations work tirelessly throughout the year to provide families and children support with essential needs,” stated Steven Klein, President and Chief Operating Officer for Northfield Bank. “Northfield’s annual toy drive is intended to lend a helping hand these organizations and make the holidays just a little brighter for those in need.”

Northfield Bank donated $5,000 towards the toy drive, allowing every organization to receive toys.  Along with the bank’s contribution, customers, employees and community members dropped off toys to help families in need.  All Northfield branches acted as a collection point for their local charity.
