"Greenable Woodbridge" Will Present Annual Report on May 9

The following information was provided by the Township of Woodbridge.

Woodbridge - Mayor John E. McCormac announced on May 7 that “Greenable Woodbridge” will present its annual report and visioning seminar – “Mapping a Greenable Future ~ Woodbridge 2013 & Beyond” to the members of the Woodbridge Township Environmental Commission and public.  

“Mapping a Greenable Future ~ Woodbridge 2013 & Beyond” is part of a public series of “green” seminars presented by Caroline Ehrlich, Executive Director, Woodbridge Redevelopment Agency and Trustee, Sustainable Jersey, designed to engage Township residents in the actions and benefits of “going green.”

“Greenable Woodbridge” is a long-term, Township-wide sustainable and environmental awareness initiative geared to provide information to residents, businesses, and visitors about real, environmentally-friendly programs and alternatives.  “Greenable Woodbridge’ identifies the environmental and sustainable issues of importance to the future of the community and provides the direction and initiatives to establish Woodbridge Township as a leader in sustainable living.  

To participate in the everyday “greenable” actions that serve to preserve and protect our environment, log-on to the Township’s “Greenable Woodbridge” web page at: www.twp.woodbridge.nj.us.  The page provides information on nearly every aspect of “going green,” along with easy-to-use information on what we can do to establish Woodbridge Township as a leader in “green” and sustainable living.

The “Greenable Woodbridge” presentation is scheduled for Thurs., May 9, 2013 at 7:00 P.M. in the Municipal Council Meeting Room, Town Hall, One Main Street, Woodbridge.
