See the National Angel Quilt at Menlo Park Mall

The Make Some Noise Foundation, a group dedicated to raising awareness of pediatric cancer, will be displaying its National Angel quilt at the Menlo Park Mall in Edison October 15 and October 16.

The National Angel Quilt features images, names and ages of approximately 100 children who died from cancer. The quilt is aimed at honoring pediatric cancer victims. It is made up of individual panels personalized by family and friends of the victims. The organization will continue to display the quilt in locations across the country.

New Jersey is a particularly important stop for the national tour as 10 New Jersey children are memorialized on it. It is also the home of 13 year old Malcolm Sutherland-Foggio, the founder of Make Some Noise. He has had cancer since 2009. Coincidently, that is the same year he decided that someone needed to β€œmake some noise” about kids cancer to help fund and find cures. His goal is that the quilt will allow the memory of these children to live on and spotlight childhood cancer which receives less than three percent of all cancer research funding.
