Get a Health Screening in Edison

The Mid-Atlantic region of the Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation is sponsoring a free medical consultation clinic October 23 starting at 1:30 pm in Edison at the Woodrow Wilson Middle School, 50 Woodrow Wilson Drive.  Many doctors in a wide range of specialties such as cardiology, diabetes, family practice, dentistry, Chinese medicine, dermatology and pediatric medicine will be in attendance to answer medical questions. If there are medical tests you want a doctor to see, bring them to the health fair and a physician will review them and discuss the results with you.

The Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation is an international humanitarian organization founded by Dharma Master Cheng Yen in 1966. There are approximately 10 million volunteers and supporters in numerous countries. The foundation dedicates itself in the fields of charity, medicine, education, environmental protection, international relief work and the establishment of the world’s third largest bone marrow donor registry. In 1989, the first office in the U.S. was established in California. Today, more than 80 offices and facilities have been created in the U.S. and there are over 120,000 volunteers and donors.
