Donate a Coat to Super Community Coat Drive

The Super Community Coat Drive will collect coats through February.

Jersey Cares, in cooperation with Walmart, the 2014 NY/NJ Super Bowl Host Committee, and New York Cares has launched the Super Community Coat Drive, the largest coat drive to be held in the tri-state area.

The goal of the drive is to distribute more than 60,000 new and gently used coats to people throughout the region without warm winter wear.

According to the Jersey Cares website, coats are being accepted now through Feb. 7, 2014. There are two public drop-off sites in the Woodbridge area.

  • Children's Lighthouse, 616 Main St., Woodbridge, will accept coats from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. Call (732) 218-8981.
  • The Salvation Army - Perth Amboy Corps, 433 State St., Perth Amboy, will accept coats from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Call (732) 826-7040.
