Visiting Artist Series: Hans Haacke, Show and Tell *NEW DATE AND LOCATION*

Hans Haacke's work is
known for its institutional critique. His ongoing interest in real-time systems
undergirds his social and political criticism. He focuses on the art world and
the system of exchange between museums and the corporate world, the exchange of
"symbolic capital" and "financial capital." As an artist
and critic, Haacke is intent on making this relationship clear to viewers.



This event is free and open to the public. Visitors are able to
obtain a day parking pass from the information booth at Paul Loser Hall and can
park in the visitor lots on campus.
