Sherlock Holmes - From Baker Street to Benedict, and Everything in Between

What is it that we love about Sherlock Holmes? Since Holmes’ first appearance in 1887, the cases of Sherlock Holmes have been translated into dozens of languages and inspired countless film and stage productions. Noted Sherlockian Burt Wolder will discuss the birth of Sherlock Holmes, the science and reasoning that distinguish his adventures, his stage, screen and radio appearances, and his worldwide fans.

Burt Wolder began reading about Sherlock Holmes in fifth grade, and it has continued to be not only a life-long interest and passion, but a subject of deep study and analysis. Burt has been a member of the international Sherlockian organization The Baker Street Irregulars since 1988, and with fellow Holmes enthusiast Scott Monty, co-hosts the popular podcast "I Hear of Sherlock Everywhere" on iTunes and at http://www.ihearofsherlock.com/
