In the interest of full disclosure, this event was originally slated to be a benefit for my Aunt & Uncle who have fallen on some tough times health wise. The idea was originally brought to me by Joelle Minkler, a friend of my Aunt. Once Sandy hit, we knew this was a bigger issue - but we still wanted to help out my Aunt and Uncle - so a portion of the proceeds will be donated to them to help them with their mounting medical bills. Additionally, funds will be dontated to the Woodbridge, NJ Animal Shelter, as well as disaster recovery funds for Woodbridge Township, the town of Seaside Heights, NJ, the town of Pt. Pleasant, NJ, the town of Keansburgh, NJ and other municipalities around the shore, where we all grew up and have tons of happy memories of. Lets make more memories on December 27th!
